Public sector expert joins State Super board

Stewart Little

Stewart Little has represented the interests of public sector workers for more than 18 years and is now the newest director on the SAS Trustee Corporation Board.

“Stewart understands the needs of public sector employees … his long standing experience in delivering outcomes for public servants will deliver new skills and valuable insights to the Board” said Nicholas Johnson, Chairperson, State Super.

Mr Johnson also commented that Mr Little “understands the workings of government and has excellent relationships with ministerial and department staff, most recently providing leadership to the Public Service Association executive and senior management teams”.

Mr Little was previously Senior Industrial Officer, and Industrial Officer for the Public Service Association of NSW (PSA). In 2016 he was elected General Secretary and is now responsible for the industrial representation of more than 38,000 public sector employees. Prior to that, Mr Little also held senior roles with the Police Association of NSW.

On his new role, Mr Little said he is “delighted to be joining the State Super Board and looks forward to serving all its members”. He went on to say:

Mr Little has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Science from the University of Technology Sydney.
