State Super has announced the appointment of Ms Carol Austin to the Trustee Board of SAS Trustee Corporation.

State Super Chairperson Mr Nicholas Johnson said the appointment of Ms Austin to the Trustee Board is an important appointment.

“Ms Austin has over thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry, including as Guardian on the Future Fund from 2011 to 2016. I have no doubt that Ms Austin will provide valuable insight from her vast experience within the industry, especially her current and past directorships, and has a very strong cultural alignment with what State Super is trying to achieve for our members. Most importantly, her skills complement the extensive range of skills we already have on our board.”

On her appointment, Ms Austin said: “I am delighted about the opportunity with State Super.  I look forward to being a director of the Trustee board and contributing to the strong commitment this board has to its members.”
