Ms Lisbeth Rasmussen has been announced as the newest director on the SAS Trustee Corporation Board (State Super).

On 23 March 2020, the Federal Government announced a $66b stimulus package to combat economic pressures facing Australians in the battle against COVID-19. The package includes measures providing for the early partial release of superannuation benefits in certain circumstances.

As COVID-19 continues to affect financial markets, we anticipate that some State Super members may be concerned about their investments. After the healthy returns experienced to date, we are now seeing a large market correction. The COVID-19 outbreak is expected to have an adverse impact on global economic growth.
